    HI
What happens if she connects all three devices(dvd, digi, vhs) into the 4 way scart then connect the scart box to the tv.
These are the Good 'ol Days just wait and see!

Connect scarts to the appliances except the telly. Connect other end of scarts into the 4 way adaptor. On the 4 way adaptor it should have a lead with a scart plug attached to the end, attach this to the telly. Turn telly on and check that everything works. By default the dvd player when powered up overides everything else, next comes the video and then the digi(sky/cable/freeview) box.

If the above doesn't work then I'm sure that other mse'r will be along shortly.

    yours

    Hi scoot
Just phoned her, she's at football practice with little'un. She will do what you said and get back to me. She's unplugged and plugged so many times she doesn't know what she has done!!
This is going to have to be a 3 way conversation as she's not on the net.

    Thanks

This brings me to my nightmare. We will be moving house soon and I have: 2xTV; PC; DVD; VHS; Freeview; Phone; Fax; Printer; Scanner; Modem, Amp and Speakers x2 all wired together (or in close proximity) and through to different rooms; it's like spaghetti junction at the back and I won't remember how it all ties together. Arghhhhh

Use some masking tape or similar and label all your connectors, problem solved.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I think it all works now. The only thing I had to do differently was to put the tv aeriel into the digibox.

    thanks everyone
