Spending on Credit Cards

I just recently got my first credit card with a limit of 800.00. I rarely going to use it though.
Is there a certain amount I should spend on it each month to keep the card active?
Thanks

Just spend and pay back I use mine for fuel £30 a week then payback in full.0

If you ever buy anything online use it (for the added security it brings if something goes wrong)
I dont think you need to spend often to keep it "active".0 -
No. If you don't use it for a long time, they may write to you prior to expiry asking if you want it renewed. Lloyds TSB did this with me. I said yes, and they renewed it each time. Think I went 9 years without using the card!
There are benefits in switching cash expenditure to credit card expenditure - s75 protection, credit (can get interest on the cash in the meantime, small beer these days), building credit rating, and possible kick backs depending on the kind of card - airmiles etc.0
