This made me smile. Tea and biscuits. Do you think they would be rich tea for £20K and chocolate hob nobs for £100k?
My OH had an inheritance at the same time as he sold his house so he had about £60K in his account for a few days. He was indeed invited to meet the financial advisor! Didn't get tea and biscuits though.

chickadee ..... tea and biscuits denied ..... outrageous
i knew it though ... they must monitor accounts or run a script to do it for them , with a big red flashing light in the managers office if it finds someone with a higher than usual balance
then out come the choccy hob nobs from the safe ....

Don't know if this is a Norfolk thing but when I go visiting clients, I am the one getting the tea and biscuits. Indeed, i have a couple of clients that bake me a cake or give me a supply of fruit or veg and one even makes me lunch.
