Last night whilst playing "builder" my 2 year old banged the TV screen with his plastic hammer and has chipped the screen (right in the middle of course).
Is it possible to repair TV screens ?
or is it going to be bye bye Widescreen, hello Plasma time ?

I wish I could get my 2 year old to do this, so I could justify a new plasma/lcd to my missus. Except I haven't got a 2 year old, darn it. Seriously, sounds nasty. Though that springs to mind is those windscreen repair kits that are used for windscreen chips?0

Just spoke to my dad who is a TV engineer. He said that the tube needs replacing so its going to be cheaper to get a new TV.
