New laptop.

Ok been looking for a while. Even went into apple store to view a macbook pro, and normal macbook. Nice but expensive, liked the big trackpad which is a button.

Heres what I'm down to but dont know which to get:

Both samsung first smaller and thinner, the second bigger and more powerfull. Price nearly the same.

Which one? And if theres better out there let me know cheers.

I just brought this one , but it was on offer for £700, still a good price though.

Was looking at that one too I like acer laptops but the 18' screen might be a bit too much. Plus I can't work out whether its using ddr3 or ddr2 ram as on the sites I've checked they can't decide.

It uses DDR3 RAM , I Thought hmm about the screen and the soze of it , but honestly i havent regreated buying this laptop, The Screen is crystal clear, and its 18.4" screen that compilants that. and the media panel on the side is very good.

Even on the acer website it says ddr2.

Just used System Info for Windows to confirm and memory is DDR3
