Why are there so many NPBs now?

...er, because Ebay employees set up buying accounts and log in via home IP addresses, buying random stuff to make small sellers feel like there's more activity going on and revenue coming in than is actually the case, perhaps? (Till the sellers do their sums...) Buy, don't pay, get a strike, open another account, rinse and repeat...

If this was this case surley it would just discourage sellers from using ebay.

Me either, there was a bit of an increase a few months ago but no problems lately. The scenario inthe opening post is as ridiculous as any that's been on here in a while..0 -

Personally I think it is the aliens, tying us all up in front of our PCs so they can slowly take over the world and we would all be so busy dealing with NPBs that we wouldn't notice until we had been conquered.
