Please could someone help re HJT

On Sunday night My mum found her ebay account hacked into and they had also accessed her yahoo address.

For the last couple of months she has had on her computer Spybot, Avira and Malawarebytes.

Please could you take a look at the HJT log and see if anything is still remaining. Nothing is coming up on a malwarebytes full scan

Also since then Avira has not been able to update, it tries but eventually times out. Thanks

Personally i would just reinstall Winows if thats what you use and that will wipe it right out.

Then download AVG for free

Nothing there looks dodgy, (you can paste the log to check yourself here: http://www.hijackthis.de)

Don't use AVG, stick with Avira, it's much better than AVG.

1. Run a full virus scan.

2. Run CCleaner to clear out all the temp and junk.

3. You could also run SpyBot S+D and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware too for checks.

If ebay and yahoo have been hacked, then that doesn't necessarily mean the pc is hacked.

Your mum's userid and password have fallen into the wrong hands - first thing would be to secure those two bits of information if she can still access them by changing both to very secure passwords (at least 8 characters, mixed case with special characters).

In addition she should also check other accounts if she has any like paypal in particular, anything finance related.

For your pc - you should consider doing isofa has susggested, additionally purchase a one single product internet security product, such as norton 2009, panda internet security 2009 (easy to use this one) and i use kasperskey 2009 (came free with my barclays account for a year :-) ). These can cost upto £35 for a years subscription but you can get them for around £15 on ebay.

Make sure your pc is fully updated, if its windos, then make sure you got all the microsoft updates.
