Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere it says in writing how the rate on my student loan is calculated (post 1998)?
There must be a contractual agreement whereby I agree to take the loan and pay the interest at the RPI rate?0 -

You were sent the full details of the T&Cs whne you agreed to the loan.
However, you should be able to get a copy from SLC.EU tariff on agricultual product 12.2%
some dairy products 42.1% cloths 11.4%
EU Clinical Trials Directive stops medical advances0 -
That was a T&C already in the agreement and nothing that could be argued with; whereas the current situation is a different story.
yes of course you are quite correct... however, the poster was sort of implying that had be known that the rate would never fall below zero then he won't have taken out the loan in the first place. (OK he didn't actually get as far as saying that but otherwise the post makes no real sense).EU tariff on agricultual product 12.2%

Thats it, they have broken the premise so all bets are off, no need to pay back the student loan and have a clear conscience about it0
