Wondering where i stand on this matter ??
I Bought through a home shopping catalogue , a gas cooker , just over 5 months later a part on it broke , it was not a part that affected me using the cooker , someone was sent out to repair it but the next day it broke again , it was replaced . Broke again 3 months later , again replaced , broke again 4 months later , again replaced . It has now gone again and i feel i have given them an adequate time to solve this and think it must be a design fault , so i said i did not want to continue this endless round of breaking and repairing and would like a replacement or refund but was told all they could do is repair it again as i had had it over a year .
Im not a complainer so i guess it was easy for them to fob me off as i was not at all sure where i stood plus im not to good at being assertive but surely i have some rights as far as this is concerned .
Any knowledgable advise would be soooooooooooo appreciated .

I thought that items for home had 2 years of warranty by law... I hope someone else can advise you better, I would have a look at the Consumer of goods act. Sorry I don't know a lot about this
