Interesting... The PC I'm using has a pretty rubbish graphics card, but Trackmania runs okay under XP, so I thought it might have a chance of working under Win7.

Yes - I had a problem getting Trackmania Sunrise to work on XP initially as it uses StarForce protection. I also had to install updated StarForce [STRIKE]malware[/STRIKE] drivers. Trackmania Nations has the same protection, but Nations Forever didn't include this (if I remember rightly).

Oh well, the Windows 7 PC is one of six computers on my desk, so I'll just use one of the others if I get time to play Trackmania (not that I should be playing it at all at work, of course!!!)

I think you're right - I remember reading (somewhere on the MS website) that you won't be able to upgrade the RC to the officially released version - a full reinstallation will be required.
