I got a sweet chillie and a hot chillie. I took the seeds ou of both a few week ago and planted them. They're growing nicely now.

So maybe best to get a pack of chillies from the supermarket when they sell them off and then use the seeds for planting?

Wow I didnt know that these survived more than one year. Where do you keep them over winter? Would an unheated greenhouse do or would I have to bring them indoors? I have one i got in Lidl which is quite big and flowering and half a dozen tiny ones grown from seed.

You bring them indoors and treat like a houseplant barely watering them, or so I've been told. They need light though but not a draughty windowsill.

Chillies going well. They are outside and about 5" tall. When will they start producing actual chillies?! Do I need to do anything? I read don't over water. I water them in the evening with the other plants.
