Hi there
Thinking of booking a 1 or 2 day trip to Lapland when schools break up in December, for the family (2 adults + 2 kids)
Fri Dec 18th onwards.
Does anyone please have any recommendations of who to book with, or where to get the most reasonable price?
thanks in advance

If you do a quick search there is quite a lot of info on previous threads, mostly from our resident Lapland expert poe.tuesday (who I haven't seen around for ages). Pretty sure there is also a really good Lapland forum on Trip Advisor.

Eh? Use the search this forum on the main overseas travel board and there are about six threads on the first page alone (last posted on earlier this year)

I was going to take my kids to Lapland but it ended up being something like £600 each for 1 day. I can't justify paying that.
But i suppose you could blag your kids, get an Easy Jet flight to Geneva and then a bus up to the Alps. The place will be blanketed in snow and you are bound to find a Santas grotto somewhere. Kids will never know your not in Lap Land. But you'll have to stay one step ahead of the game, make sure you go past a dog home or something - bound to be the odd husky in there.
Kids happy, you're happy, wifes even happier since you saved about a grand.
