Calling all mechanics/Rover 214 owners

My oh is as we speak changing the head gasket and cylinder head on our rover 214 si - 1996, but he doesn't think the cam belt timing settings are correct, can anyone help? have searched for ages on the web and can't find anything apart from others wanting to know the same thing!!, then I thought, where else could I go for help...........and here I am!! If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
