Tumble dryer

Just bought the electrolux for £249 on john lewis and was going to give it a first go but was shocked to find nearly all my clothes have the 'dont tumble dry' symbol on them!!! Now, either this is over cautious by the clothes manufacturer, and i can probably get away with it, or have i just wasted my money?? Has anyone…

I , like others have tumbled dry things on the lowest setting, with few problems, never anything I am bothered about.
I also put stuff in after they have been on the line, but just for a few minutes then just fold up tshirts and things whilst warm so don't need to iron them.
I find cheap tshirts come off the worst as they go short and wide.
