New Laptop - XP identities error message - what does it mean?

Have recently bought a new laptop, it has XP, so we each have our own identity.
My identity is fine and was the first one set-up. My husband and son's identities have an error message pop-up in notepad as soon as they log-on.
It reads:-
"[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787"
It doesn't seem to affect the operations of the laptop and can be closed down. I am a bit worried as I don't know what it means, if it is causeing any damage behind the scenes or if it can be removed.
I have tried googling it with no luck.
Can anyone help please?
