HSBC where to start

Can anyone help me pls. Got a £3000 loan out with HSBC in 2005, i just about know its a fixed rate loan. Can't remember what they told me at the time just knew i needed the money badly and signed what they said cos they said i could have the loan. Probably would have signed my soul away at the time.
How would i know or prove they wouldn't give it to me without the PPI at the time?
I went back to them in 2007 to get another loan For £1000, they wiped out the old loan and added everything on to the new loan and yet again i just signed what they told me to, they may have said do i want insurance or they may have said i needed it. What do i do? Where do i start? How do they know if they know if the person giving me the loan would of given me the choice?

    Hi there

    Check this link out here:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

If any of those reasons you will find in the link occur to you then you have a case.

And remember if they added this in, for example, if your loan was for over say 10 years and that PPI only covered for 5 years, you will still be paying for this for the life of the loan, that is a case straight away.

You will come across reclaim templates on the link, but add your own reasons.
They have 8 weeks to respond in full.
Another letter maybe required if they give you the opportunity, and in the final response they should give you details of the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) if your not satisfied with the outcome.

Post all letters by recorded delivery, good luck and post up for help when requiired, and please keep us informed, cheers.;)
