Feedback not visible?

Hi, please be gentle with me.

I bought something from ebay, it was a really good transaction, I left really good feedback, top DSRs and when they left feedback for me I commented on their feedback to say how happy I was.

They say that they can't see it, I didn't realise until they politely asked if I would leave some feedback.

They were brilliant sellers and went the extra mile for me, I am a bit concerned that the feedback I left may be only showing up to me.

Is there any way I can confirm this?

Can you give us the item no, or seller id and yours ? Then we can see if it is visible. Is the star on the item for feedback checked as well ?

I hope you don't mind, but I feel uncomfortable giving too much of my id on ebay on here - although I am sure that anyone can guess, I suppose I want to make a tiny effort. :o:o

Yes, the star is ticked, and clearly visible when I check my feedback left for others. Bit baffled to be honest.

Really appreciate all advice or comments. I know sometimes people look at numbers of posts etc but really I just post on the OS board mainly so it looks like I am terribly prolific when really I am not that knowledgeable.

I would log on as a guest & view the sellers details. If you can see the feedback there then it must have gone through. If you cant then try going into your leave feedback screen from My Ebay & see if its still sitting there - maybe it wasnt saved when you added it & thats why its not showing?
If you've tried these then Im stumped!

Gosh that's a lot of info on an open forum.

The OP is right to refuse, I would strongly suggest never giving any info on here that can identify your ebay ID, far too open for potential problems.

I logged in as a guest (thank you, kprigg) and the feedback was visible, so for once it isn't me being dippy - always a surprise when that happens lol.

Sequence - I do hope you are not offended.

Thank you for all the help. The seller was lovely so I am glad that I can reflect that in my transaction, even if they can't see it :D

No I'm not at all offended , I wouldn't give my ID on here either, but it was a bit early in the day when I posted

Logging in as a guest was a much better idea!

Just check that they are looking at the right feedback tab - if they are looking at "Feedback as a Buyer", then they will not see the comment you left for them as a seller.
