Question About payment via paypal??

I have purchased tickets via ebay with paypal (verified) it says complete my end, but the seller says paypal are holding it for 24hrs.

Is this correct do they actually do this and why would they hold it when its my money to give??

I need the money to clear so the seller will send me ticket confirmation email, she has 100% feeback as a seller?? Am I paranoid? lol

Sounds unlikely actually. If PP put money on hold, it's for 21 days.
I guess it won't hurt to wait an extra day for your tickets, assuming they won't arrive too late!

Its actually for Michael Jackson tickets so no, but I am still worried because I cannot afford to lose a large amount of money, Also I know the tickets are upper tier but they won't tell me the seat numbers I have a 100% feedback as a buyer/seller so its not like I am dodgy?? Sorry for the waffle but these are for my birthday and I would be gutted if it all went wrong

The seller may be subject to a new "feature" of PayPal called Payment Review. Anyone selling something, over £50 in value I believe, who doesn't have much history may be subject to this. Basically they hold the transaction whilst they investigate it for any oddities. This process takes up to 24 hours.

This happened to me just last week. Not sure what the buyer saw from their side though. Once they've cleared the payment they'll still hold the money, either until the seller receives positive feedback or 21 days pass without dispute.

    See: https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/policy_pbp-outside section 4.5.

Hm, I wouldn't have bought them if they were refusing to give info on the position.
