Visa are trialling a new type of Credit Card to Combat Fraud.

It's a Barclaycard corporate card being trialled for CNP transactions. There's nothing new about the code generation, just that this card doesn't need the additional reader/PINpad to generate the code.0

Actually, there's not much they can do with it. The PIN's not stored on the card, and any PIN will generate a code. It isn't even (necessarily) the same PIN used by the payment side.0
