Hello the Surrey Mirror is running a comp and Post Pals www.postpals.co.uk (which I run) is up against 77 projects for 12 lots of funding. If enough people vote we would win £500 to brighten the lives of children fighting cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, going through transplants or other serious illnesses)
We plan to use some of the money to hold a party for the families to come together (they are up and down the country and this is their one chance to see each other, for parents to share about what they have been through, for kids to be able to put chemo and surgeries to the side and simply have fun! The left over money will be used to send cards, letters and gifts to other seriously ill children.

Thank you to everyone who voted, we got a phonecall today to say we have won! We will be presented with a cheque for £500 at a dinner. Ive found a childrens entertainer who during her party has each child make a teddy bear, it was out of our price range but should hopefully now be possible.
