Loophole in credit card debt

:T It really helped, my sister is going to get tough and she is going to get it sorted now.0

I know he said he's going to sort it, but I'd really advise her to at least make the minimum payments to stop her credit rating being trashed. Unfortunately, because its in her name, she owes the money legally.0

Your sister needs to send a letter to the ex-boyfriend asking him to start paying the debt within 28 days otherwise she will take further action to reclaim the money owed.
She should also write to the companies concerned using registered post and state that the ex does not have permission any more to act on her behalf and no further correspondence should be sent to him.
In the mean time like jpwjpw said she should pay the minimum payments.
After 28 days she should go to moneyclaimonline and submit a claim for the full amount the ex owes her including any interest. She should briefly say what else he owes her and be factual about it. She should make her entire statement factual as facts are hard to argue with.
There will be a lot of mud slinging after he receives the court papers so she should avoid having any verbal contact what so ever with him. If he contacts her she needs to tell him clearly she can't talk to him over the phone and that he need to put it in writing.
As long as she has or can get statements showing that there were credit card transfers from other cards then she will have evidence to back up her claims.
Civil cases are judged on the balance of probabilities so she shouldn't worry about having 100% proof of everything.
I know from other posters on here and what I have experienced personally this sort of claim against ex-partners is very common in the small claims court.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
