Ebay Seller Ripped Off Buyers And Bought From Me

Hi,

Someone on ebay has bought an expensive item from me, but they have now received about 100 negatives in the last week or so from angry buyers about goods they haven't recived. It looks like they've been selling stuff they don't have then buying high value items from other sellers.

What should I do? Am I safe to send out the goods? Should I send out the goods? Payment is by paypal with a confirmed address. The item will be shipped by DHL so will have tracking.

Thanks

Does it looked like a hacked account? If it is, then accepting payment would be a seriously bad idea. What else have they been buying?

PM me the buyer's ID if you'd like me to take a look.

    Ok, it's very odd.
They have bought quite a lot of stuff in the last 30 days, but most of it is low value... the odd bunch of console games, a few electronics, but mainly kids clothes and toys.

Look how many of the people leaving negs have bought several items - 8,9 or so. I think the prices were 'too good to be true' and people have been buying lots of things... but I wonder if the prices were a mistake... it's just bizarre. The style of the auctions before it all seemed to go wrong matches the newer ones so it doesn't look like a hack.

I think I'd be considering a quick phone call to this disaster area of a seller! Maybe they can explain some of this... I'm not sure I'd feel happy sending their item to them without knowing more.
