Capital one made me an offer today

I was trying to claim back late payment charges and overlimit charges which totalled £780. They have sent me a letter saying I signed the terms and conditions re late payment charges and that they will reduce the charges i made to £12. So they have offered me £252. Which includes a £20 interest payment.
What should I do? Should I take it or chase them for more?
Thanks

Accept it as part paymetn only. Continue to chase for the rest.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Can I do that? They have sent me a form to sign which states
I confirm my acceptatnce of Capital ones offer to refund £252. This action by Capital one is accepted by me as closure on my complaint.
This fee refund offer is valid for 6 months from the date on this letter. If we do not receive it back within this time frame your refund will be re-calculated this may result in you receiving a lower settlement figure

As oscar52 says - write back to them saying you will accept £252 as part payment only. You have asked for triple this amount, so go for it all. Don't sign their letter accepting the £252.0

No dont accept it - mine was for exactly the same amount but I added interest onto my charges and the court fee which totalled £1307. They tried to give me 232 plus 20 interest but I sent the second letter requesting the whole amount. They will not do part payment as Barclaycard will. I then received a second letter from them saying the same thing that they would only give me £232 so I started MCOL really easy and received £1307 back from Capital One all in all took about a month to complete the process. Take them for it all including interest they do pay out when it comes to MCOL. Good luck.0

Thanks crawli1 for giving the email address. It is very simple - I was terrified about doing it but it was os easy. Just make sure the amount you claim includes interest and the court fee. Good luck0
