Home Ins when buying house

I'm buying a repossessed house, and as part of the terms of the mortgage my solicitor has to check I've got buildings cover. I've been checking for quotes - and esure seems best with quidco (125-£45 = £80ish for buildings+contents)...

Does anyone know if esure (and/or sheilas wheels) send you your policy via email? All of the companies seem to say "we'll post your policy to you".. and considering I don't own the house yet (and the post box is covered over!) the documents would end up going missing?!

Does anyone have suggestions for companies that *do* send the policy via email/make it available via their website?

Make sure you note your mortgage company as an interested party on the policy schedule, you solicitor will want to see their name on it

Not necessary these days for most lenders.
OP should have insurance in place as at exchange of contracts.
