in Credit cards
Hello,
Need some advice, my husband and I recently transferred onto the Virgin Credit Card for the 15 months at 0% and transfered over a balance. After paying well over the minimum amount we have been charged for late fees and interest....get this the due date for payment was 25th April, I paid on the 3rd, but virgin only accept payments between the 6th and the 25th to count as being paid on time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have never missed a payment since we have had the card.
Have any of you come across this, can they do this, surely it can't be right?? Virgin have offered to refund the late fee and knock half the interest off, but won't refund in full.
Sorry to moan, but am incensed!!

Not ideal, but sounds fair enough. If that's the T&Cs then essentially you agreed to them.0

It doesn't state on any of the statements either paper or online that you can only pay between certain dates, it certainly doesn't tell you that if you pay them money at the start of the month that you will be penalised .0

I work in MBNA - all I can suggest is you paid before the statement was actually printed. If no further payment was made, the system would automatically see it as late.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
