hi i currently have 3 bank accounts one of which is with A&L where my bills are paid from. the last 2 months the account has gone overdrawn (unauthorised) and it is showing on my credit report already as two late payments. i have been overdrawn in the past on other accounts (unauthorised) and nothing has never been but on credit report. i thought they only put it on your file if it is over 30 days. is there anyway i can get this removed and if not how long will this stay on my credit report for? all advice gratefully recieved

Hi jonny,
I know this isnt what you want to hear but unfortunately the answer is no - they wont remove it. I had incorrect information to this effect placed on my credit file by A&L, and despite a judgement by the FOS ordering its removal and clear documentary evidence being provided to state this was not the case, they are still refusing to remove.
Not sure about how long it is though Im afraid - sorry!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Hi. I have had a similar experience with this. Some bank current accounts seem to show the unathorised overdraft as a late payment and some don't. I went over my overdraft with the Nationwide and my reports still shows all the zeros. You are stuck with that for three years I am afraid. The late payments will then 'drop off' your credit report. I have a Barclaycard/Littlewoods visa card that I have had to keep open for three years more that I wanted so that some late payments I made in the past drop off! Come June I will be able to close the account. Hope that helps!0
