    Good evening everyone,

Well I went to re-stock the cupboards today after the [STRIKE]locusts [/STRIKE]children had emptied them

I went armed with some coupons, none from the 1st page here but some I had in my purse for all sorts of different items.

Looked at all the cashiers and went for a young male :p (the rest were all middle aged females who did not look welcoming :( )

Filled the conveyor belt and then said "I have some coupons for you" "Ok" he said.

I had 9 coupons (totalling £9.95 and all for items I did not buy) and he looked at every single one of them  I was petrified lol, thought I was going to have palpatations!!!!!

But, he scanned them all :T I was so chuffed, I know it is no where near what you guys hand over but it's a start and the 1st time I have used coupons for something I have not bought (mortal sin I know :o)

    So thank you everyone :A

I went shopping today and my usual sa wasn't there, i paniced as she is usually really good, there are a couple of others that i don't mind using but they wern't there either!! so i decided to go with the safe bet of a young male (BIG MISTAKE) he put my shopping through and i handed him my pile of coupons (about 6) and he looked at them and looked at me and looked at me again, i thought uh oh, here we go, he said
'have you brought any of these items'
i said erm, 'i'm not sure, why's that?'
he sort of laughed and said 'you know you have to buy the items to use the coupons'
(Quick thinking alert) i replied 'how long has that been the case' i said,
he replied 'i don't know i just assumed'
i then reasurred him that this was not the case as i shop in here almost every day and have never had any trouble before,
he said 'oh, if your sure'
    PHEW!!
He then scanned the coupons (or the ones that would scan) and then got very hot and bothered with the ones that wouldn't as he kept typing the numbers in wrong, ooooooops!!
I definitly will not be using him again!!

    Or register here!! :D

    http://www.britishturkey.co.uk/register/coupon.shtml

Prints 2 Expires 14 days after printing

(Personally I use 2 different sets of details rather than saying that it didn't print! That way both copies are 'Genuine' - Just my own way of trying to ensure that I don't pass dodgy moc's to Mr T!!)
I think that's a great way to do it m4rtin, because otherwise, somewhere down the line, there is possibly going to be a promo with twice as many coupons being redeemed as couponnet thought had been printed.;)
If you check the PIN code against the couponstar verification site (as stated on the coupon) they both show as valid.
I think I'll copy your method now though:T, it just seems sensible for the longer-term gains.

You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Wow, I lie low for a couple of days, then it takes me 3 more to catch up on all the posts!!

I've been searching relentlessly for coupons but nada  my day will come I'm sure!!

I had success at a local garden centre last week with the gardening coupons, managed to come away with about £10 worth:j

For the 1st time ever, I ventured further afield and tried a different Mr T's. wasn't to bad, they accepted 50% worth of coupons. Think I'll give it another couple of try's with some lesser trouted faces and see if I can better 50%;)

I'm due a trip to my local T's tomorrow, and will be stocking up on aftersun :rotfl::rotfl: ouch!

If you manhandle the sellophane a little you can see the black lines of the coupon which you cut around. They're 8 small boxes of cereal in a clear sellophane wrapper ( exactly what you said really!!) Think kelloggs variety pack...........only Nestle!!
    Comping wins

    May 2013: Sausage Roll :D
Keep calm and carry on comping

the MOCS are on the backs of the packets, which are in the middle of the packaging....if you push up one of the middle ones, you'll just see the dotted lines of the one behind it.....they are in packs of 8 and cost around £1.19.

    edit:rotfl:
I thought it was only m4rtin I always posted seconds after......it's catching....must take up touch typing:rotfl:

Feeling a bit sad tonight. Been trouted for the first time. Saw SA who looked like a trout but thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt. Took my usual 5 coupons to the counter (that's the limit at my T's) but she just looked at me as said "I can't take all these as it will pay for all your shopping:naughty:" I was so surprised that I just paid up and left. Needless to say, I won't be going to her again.
