for the local hamper, why not have a word with some local butchers, have a quick google to see if there are any market gardeners, farmers etc that would like to contribute. People like this tend to have local contacts and might know of local honey producers, preserve makers etc.
Why not add some locally made crafts as keepsake items as well eg add some local eggs (special ones such as quail, duck etc) with some handmade egg cups or special tea or coffee and a handmade mug/cup set.
I would think that the local chamber of commerce and google would be you best bet.
Oh, and check out any farmers markets nearby to you.
