Used Car Warranty - token payment ?
Good evening all
Firstly as this is my first post I would like to thank all for the help and advice that is on here and for the dosh that it has helped me save !
Anyway my dillema .. my daughter bought a Ka last September from a reputable well established local used car dealer with 3 months warranty. She had one or two niggles including a replacement steering rack all sorted without any problems at all.
Over the last few weeks the new steering rack has stared to leak fluid again. On taking it back to the garage they agree that it should still be under the suppliers warranty and will replace it for her.
They have asked for a contribution for the labour costs to replace the faulty part.... I want to be fair but obviously do not want to cough up unecessary cash....
I would apprecate anyones thoughts on where I stand legally ...
Thanks for reading
