Not sure if this the right place or not ? Feel free to move if need be ?.
One quick question if I may. I used to have a joint account with my ex and Shabby. I seem to remember Shabby removed her from the account with no questions asked when we split up 5 years ago. (Although I did do this in branch and I do recall being seen by a very young Customer service girl who mayve not known what she was doing)
I have successfully reclaimed some charges from Abbey but Abbey are insistant on making the cheque payable to both our names as this was what the account was at the time of the charges.
Therefore does anybody know if I will have any problems paying this cheque (in both names) into my single named account ?
Having gone through the wrangle trying to extract these fees from Abbey I dont want to flounder now and not be able to bank my endeavours. Any ideas ?

Just a quick update. I recd a MEAF cheque refund yesterday but hey as we thought they made it payable to me and my ex, however when I banked the cheque yesterday, the teller did not even flinch at the account being 2 names. (maybe a case of the teller not noticing though)If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!
