Tolls Charges in France

I am travelling to France in a few weeks by car and its been about 7 years since I last done it. I would like to pay for my petrol and tolls on my credit card, but I can't remember if the tolls incur a fee upon my credit card like cash would. Does anybody have any info/experience of this?
Thanks
Thanks

If you use Abbey Zero, Nationwide or Post Office cards you will not pay any additonal fees.
I did it last year on Nationwide card and will use the newly relaunched abbey Zero this year.
Other credit card providers will load the transaction with a %age and/or add fees.
The transaction is treated as a purchase.
I had no problems with card acceptance at toll booths, a few automated petrol stations didn't like my uk issued card though.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
