Abbey Current account 100 bonus

I have switched my current account from barclays to Abbey as the branch staff of Abbey told me I could recieve 100 pounds bonus if I deposited or transferred 1000 pounds each month to Abbey current account. I did as the staff told. But it is over 5 months already and I didnot get the bonus money. I have called Abbey CS and their staff asked me contact branch staff. While the branch staff told me just to wait for longer. What should I do now? anyone has similar experience. Many thanks for advice.

Why have you let them fob you off for so long?
What you need to do is go in to the branch, demand to see the manager, and not leave until it is sorted.

Hi. I have signed up to this offer too. The condition was, after the month in which the third £1000 deposit was made, they would credit the £100 within 60 days. My third will go in on 31 May 2009. I take it the latest I will get it [the bonus] is 31 July 2009. If I don't I will write and complain. I am not sure the exact dates of your payments, but hope the 60 days has not gone past yet for you. Let us know how you get on.
