Money Spent - Company Not Claimed

I spent £45.96 on my debit card at the beginning of March, so as I understood this would be debited and allocated for collection.
The thing is the money has been re-allocated to me, when is this company likley to ask for there money, it normally happens within a few days its been 17. Is there a cap on how long they are allowed to claim the money, or will I have to watch for it for a while to come.
Company in question was H&M, Exeter High Street.
Any help appreciated, cheers
