Atlas Travel Insurance

Hello

I found what I think is a good cheap travel insurance company called Atlas Direct (I had to remove the link as I am a newbie, but you can google them). However, they are not mentioned anywhere on this site so I was wondering...
a) if they are a good company to go with and
b) has anyone delt with them before i.e. anyone got any views on their customer services/how easy is it to claim etc...

Thanks for looking!

We've used them several times but not yet had to claim (thank goodness!). However when I have contacted them with any query they have been courteous, friendly and informative and yes they certainly are competitive on price - we have always gone for the fully comprehensive package, this summer for our family of 4 travelling to Turkey for a couple of weeks cost around £25.00 I think.
  • I used them last year also and had to change my policy at the last minute. They organised the cancellation, refund and new policy very quickly. Like the previous poster, we didn't need to claim, which is always the real test, but they were a good company to deal with prior to the holiday.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
excellent and efficient insurance company. I had to use them while on holiday in Menorca. I broke my ankle and tibia, spent 5 nights in hospital after an operation to plate and pin it. They provided an interpreter to deal with all issues from meals, phone calls ,flight home and transport to the airport. They also arranged every single aspect from a 2 b to ensure everything went smoothly. I have never used anyone else since, highly recommended:beer:
