An idea that I LOVE......

I know insurance comparison sites aren't always the best route and I know there are also loads of little loop holes and stuff with car insurance but since I dont have the time or the 'head-space' (if you know what I mean) to figure them out, I looked through some compare sites and found what I think is a great idea called 'donatesomeback.com' they do all the same comparison type stuff but donate half of their comission from each sale to a charity of your choice. So I have got cheap fully comp and donated £20 to the RSPCA without spending anything extra!! Nice to know my laziness isn't lining the pockets of the fatcats at compare, moneysupermarket, etc, etc. but has gone to my fave charity!

I hate insurance cos it feels like its money being thrown away but since its a necessary evil, nice to know you can do something good at the same time. Cant speak highly enough of this site!!

  • I know what you mean, I used them to find my house insurance. It is a fab idea, thankfully I haven't had to make a claim yet but any contact Ive had with them has been really good.

Has anyone else had experience of this site? Has your experience been positive too?

You wouldn't happen to work for them at all would you?

    Call me a cynic...
I am a Financial Adviser specialising in Mortgages, Protection, Health and Medical Insurance. I also write wills. All information posted on this site is for discussion only, and should not be taken as advice.
  • I do indeed call you a cynic! lol.
Nope, Im a pub landlady (incidentally, one of the hardest professions to get decent car insurance). I just get excited when I find things I like! They're a new company and I like to show support for people trying to do good things through business.
I think I'd be a lot better off if I worked for them! :(
