Previous Tennants letters still delivered

Hi all, was wondering how I go about stopping the previous tennents letters, bank statements, wage slips, etc... being delivered?
Myself and my gf have been renting at the property for over a year now and we are getting more mail for the previous family than our own lol. There seems to be letters from Nationwide, DVLA that sort of thing, they must be important, it puzzles me that they havent changed address. Is it something not to worry about or should I contact someone to explain this problem?
Many thanks for comments in advance.

I've been getting other peoples mail for ages. I use a thick black marker to write "not know here / return to sender" across mail that isnt mine, and drop it in the post box. Once I opened a letter that had no return address and it was a notice of reposession (not for my house). When I phoned the bank they were very angry with me for opening the letter, so now I leave that job to the post office.0

You could drop an email to your LL, explaining that the previous tenants seems to still be having all their mail delivered to your address. S/he may still have some contact details for them to let them know.
Other than that, there is no need to tell anyone. Simply write across each & every letter 'RTS' (or in full 'Return to Sender'), & 'moved'. The companies concerned should get the message eventually.0 -
Still getting letters for a woman who moved out nearly 20 years ago - she wasn't here when we moved in.
All marked return to sender and put back in the postbox0 -

It's likely to be junk mail. You should register her name with the Mail Preference Service. It will stop junk mail being delivered for anyone that doesn't live there anymore. It does work!

It's worth the OP doing it as well as no doubt some of the stuff they get will be trash.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If they haven't bothered to tell companies where they've moved to I think we know why..
In the Post box...
Cheers!
