Thanks for the offer MrUtilities.
This morning I had a Bill off Atlantic. I phoned to ask them now what, I was told that I am £192 in credit including the direct debit payment they were not entitled to take.
And have been assured that a cheque for the full amount will arrive early in the new year.
Can't help thinking if I owed that to them, I would have had my second final demand by now.
This as learnt me, pay as little as you can get away with in direct debit. Better you owe them.0 -
I have just had a look at my bank account after writing the above.
And found that the direct debit payment as been put back into my account. they said they do not have the facilities to put it back directly into my account, and will have to send a cheque.
The letter from Barclays seem to have done the trick.0
