Virgin is one of the better credit cards but now have increased there money transfer fee to 4%

if my credit limit is £2800 with virgin,+5100 with mbna could i move 5100 to virgin card then transfer it to bank/

Virgin Money credit cards are issued by MBNA so you cannot pay an MBNA card with another MBNA card.

What you can do is phone up MBNA and ask them that you wish to transfer the money into your current account from both of the cards, i.e. Virgin Money and MBNA, you do not need to transfer the £5100 balance of your MBNA card to your virgin credit card. From what i've been reading on the forums you can only transfer 95% of the credit limit on each card that can be transferred over to your current account to leave room for the fee they charge.

im not sure which cards belong to mbna.
here is a list of all my cards....
bank of scotland.
virgin.
barclaycard.
monument.
amazon/halifax.
abbey.
egg.
natwest.
any help would be great,

From the list it appears the Virgin is the only card there that belongs to the MBNA group.
