It still says on the globaltestmarket site that they still only give cheques as payment, have you had a paypal payment yourself from them?
    Thanx

Thanks Cally. I'd forgotten about Pinecone despite having several payments from them in the last few weeks.

There are a few sites there that i've not come across before - rewarding ways and opinion outpost - I'll take a look at those.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for that I wouldn't have known as they haven't sent an email informing of the changes and they have not updated the faq on the site, it is still saying they only pay by cheque so they need to change that.

They give a lot less points for surveys now though so it takes ages to get a decent amount of points
    Thanx

Does anyone know if its okay to be on the Ipsos Panel at the same time as another member in the house? My husband has been a member for a year and I signed up as well but I've had a survey recently that said I couldn't take part if someone else in the house is on the Panel. It got me thinking!

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere!

    Thanks in advance

These panels are usually one member per household (a quick google suggests second hand reports that this is also the case with ipsos)

rothchick ... if your hubby looks at his profile, he should be able to add u to
it so they will send u survey invite to his address

my account has invites for me n my OH
  • When I initially tried to sign up for Ipsos, they refused my application as they said someone in the 'household' was already a member. I wrote to them and said this definitely wasn't the case, and asked if the problem may be caused by the fact that I live in a block of flats - turns out this was the case. I suggested to them that they might want to look at their definition of 'household, especially for city dwellers!

I can't speak for the specific sites you mention but I know that some survey sites don't allow you to do that. They can tell if you are outside of the UK and can block you from completing them - and in some cases from accessing your accout at all. Perhaps check with them?

YouGov allows you to complete from outside the UK, the only issues I had when completing my surveys when out in america back in march was the lack of flash support on my tablet
