Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. I've got to downsize and i have quite a few collectable CD's & CD singles by major name artists, like U2, Queen, Radiohead, Prince, etc and i was wondering where is the best place to sell on to. I don't want to use an auction site as in the past i've not been too happy with what i've seen going price wise and i feel Ebay is overloaded with CD's. Any advice from anyone whose used specialist buyers would be appreciated.

i would recomend ebid rather than ebay, have got a large number of vinyl records to sell so have checked and queried the prices on amazon and am in the process of listing with a BIN at a reasonable price and those that I'm not fussed about with a bid price starting at 99p to clear them. If you want to go down the specialist route then i would suggest the yellow pages for a list of independant sellers in your local area and contact them for advice.Cambridgeshire Based Photographer

I don't usually interfere with ebid threads anymore but I feel I have to warn the OP that there are very few buyers on ebid, so if you are serious about selling them ebid is probably not the best place to try. If you want to try ebid I suggest you use it as a guest seller for a while before you pay the £49.99 membership as some of us listed stuff for over 5 years without a single sale and I wouldn't like you to waste your money.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Amazon is worth a look for the rarer stuff and possibly Playtrade (play.com) also.
You could listing on eBay as a buy it now rather than auction if you know roughly what the market price is (many years ago there was a mag called 'record collector' that gave you prices each month - not sure if it' still around).0
