Can someone point me towards cards that are good for stoozing which have decent credit limits?
I must have a crappy credit score as I never get decent limits (I earn about £15k). The only good one was Mint......
Halifax £1400
Mint £5250
MBNA £3000
Barclaycard £1200

Thanks.

At 15k those credit limits aren't bad. ::)
I earn 14k and have 1.5k with Barclaycard and Sainsburys, 3.8k MBNA and an excellent 15 k with Lloyds Advance card. ;D
I do have a joint Lloyds account with Mr Smartsaver who earns more...0 -
Egg springs to mind especially for the SBT's0

Try getting a card from whoever you bank with. Providing you have been with them for a while and have managed your account responsibly you should find they give you a much higher limit than a company who don't know you.0

First direct seem to give higher limits at the moment.
I'm going to apply with them in Jan once my settled cards show through on my credit report.0 -
Cooperative Bank invite you to ask them to match an existing credit limit on their Advantage cards. You could ask them to match your Mint limit. They upped my limit from £5K to £11K when I asked.0

My bank is RBS so that means Mint. I've already used them. The 0% period is up and I closed the account0

There is nothing to stop you appllying for another RBS backed card. At one point I had RBS , MINT and Natwest cards running concurrently , all part of the RBS group. The only restriction is you won't be allowed to reapply for one that you had in the last 6 months.Charles J0
