Sell your Credit Card debt??? does this work?

Please, Please can some one tell me if this is true? ive just spoke to a lady called Marilyn, from Marilyn Stein & Associates at 7a High Street Wanstead , London , E11 2AA 0208 530 4242

Marilyn told me she was a mortage broker of 20years and it would cost £350 plus 10% of my debt to have it writen off as long as my card was taken out before 2007, which it was.

this means i have to give her £350 plus £1300. and in 2 weeks i will be debt free. she said 99% of the debt get written off , if not i can have my money back.

Has anyone done this? How can i find out if she is genuine and the company. I googled her name but it doesnt say much on the internet and im planning a visit to see her in the next couple of weeks.

It may work, but you'll be rejected for credit for at least the next 6 years if you manage it because the debt will be merely made unenforceable - it certainly won't be 'written off' your credit record.

And all cases are to be put on hold for the foreseeable future. So not a lot will happen in the next 2 years, let alone 2 weeks.

A lot of mortgage brokers are getting into this line of work as they are suffering so badly.

Some of them seem to assist people to get mortgages they cannot handle and now they are trying to get them out of the 'said' mess.

Funny thing is the broker is earning at both ends.

If you are going to screw up your credit you might as well go the whole way and go for an IVA or the like - but I would search the boards more before jumping into anything.

Plenty of sensible advice on how to get yourself out of a whole and no £350 spend either

Lol - exactly.

This type of spamming generally backfires when eagle eyed forum members check out the company to find that it is not authorised by the Ministry of Justice and as a result take up their request to report unauthorised businesses. :whistle:

guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i left those details in case anyone could help me!!!!! i dont know who she is i just spoke to her this morning, what do i need to do to prove it????????? im in trouble as it is i only want help not a war
