With three small children (and a liking for Weetabix yourself) you might be interested in this:-

My 20 month old son like his with cold milk, crumbled farleys rusk, or sliced banana. At the weekend when DH makes his brekkie he has sugar...
I've got a set of four 75th Anniversary square Weetabix bowls (perfect size for two) and I used to eat them every day - slightly overlap two bixxies, pour cold milk over middles to leave crunchy ends, generous layer of sugar and eat immediately.
Wash/soak bowls promptly after eating to avoid the cement effect
Do I sound like a Weetabix anorak?0 -
Hi,
Weetabix have to be baby mush for me, no dry bits with either sugar or banana. Have to be hot in winter, all milk, never heard of doing them with water!
DD has taken a while to warm up to them but now enjoys with with banana, crumbled up with a fromage frais or just milk.
When I was pg with DD I was unable to eat weetabix, just couldn't swallow it! Double celebration the day she was born.
I tried the Oatibix at the same time, same reaction not tried them since as they require a ridiculous amount of milk to make them soggy.
I always buy Aldi Weetabix and can't tell the difference.

P.S. I also like cornflakes with hot milk. But if the milk is cold I can't stand them if they go soggy.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Nope you sound like a woman who know's what a pain it is to scrub off the bowl! I don't always wash the dishes straight away but I do at least run water into them so they can soak!!
Maddogwoman - I tried Oatibix. Made me gag. I thought it was awful. Much less superior to good old Weetabix.
Nessie - never heard of anyone eating it like a biscuit. Don't you get crumbs everywhere?!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
