Debt collection agencies

I had a HSBC Credit card account that got passed on to a debt collection agency. It took me 6 yrs to pay it off and now it's clear. Would i still be able to claim charges even though the debt was passed to a collection agency? Any advice please!:confused:

    I would say the bank but I'm not an expert so I'm not certain, anybody else want to give some input?

    its def the bank u need to contact to raise this issue, thats what my friend did a while ago
