car hire- anyone used easycar or holiday autos?

We are about to book a car hire for four days in Ireland and the best deals around are with easycar and holiday autos but both these companies,along with most of the other main suppliers,seem to have pretty poor customer reviews

anyone had positive experiences with either of these companies?

Used holiday autos a couple of years ago in Peurto De La Cruz, Tenerife.
Everything went swimmingly. I turned up to the car hire firm (seemed to be an independant firm, Holiday Autos are a broker, I believe) Had to sign a form or two, but had the car within about 5 minutes, and eneded up being given the car for an extra evening. (My Holiday Autos order stated a 5pm return collection, but they didn't request it back until 9am the next morning!)
So personally had a very good experience with a Holiday Autos.

Hi!

I used easycar in Venice last year. I actually booked through cardelmar. I had no problems with the car it was a Nissan Note. The only thing I would recommend is to definitely look at the condition of the car before you sign for it. The guy at the easycar desk wanted me to sign for it there and then without checking, to save him the hassle of walking out to the car while I checked it.

I am going to Tuscany this year and the price seem to have increased alot for car hire since last year. Can anybody recommend a car hire company for Italy?
