So forgive me for asking - but can I get my bank charges back now?!

Hey,

I claimed £700 back from Nationwide about 2 years ago, which was great.

I reckon whilst at university I have paid over £1000 in bank charges to Halfax and Barclays, which I really would like back.

What should I do? I have written to Halifax, politely asking for a few recent charges to be lifted and they took a couple off initially, but refused any more. I want it ALL back!

Is there still a 'freeze'? ANY help getting this money back would be great, as I graduate very soon and need all I can get!

Thanks

Alex

Just send them the starting letter asking for all your statements, enclose the £10 and send recorded. When they respond, ask for all your charges back and this will put you in the queue again with everyone else who is reclaiming.

The claims are still on hold, but write to the Halifax and Barclays anyway and "start the ball rolling".
