    Ummm.. not too great!

£2.30 in tesco on 2 yummy looking ginsters pies for the freezer (bogof :j) and milk, not too bad!
£1.30 on weekend newspaper, not essential but cheap as a treat and takes me half the week to read it all!
£2.99 in charity shop on book (bridget jones' diary) and a (very nice, expensive looking) jumper, not at all necessary but not disastrous as spending sprees go!! :rotfl:

So, actually, an alright day. Notice all the justifying to myself though, felt guilty when I went to town because I knew my list only consisted of milk and newspaper but equally knew I needed some relaxing time to take my mind off writing of dissertation and infuriating housemate (my ex, for those of you reading my "my story" thread!). My solution..... charity shops!! I got all the browsing (and a little buying) I needed and it came to £2.99, damage limitation worked quite well :rotfl: I felt no need to look in Next or Topshop or Republic, was tired out!

Enjoy your night out skintchick, you deserve it!!

    £79 :(

£49 on new shoes, socks and schoolbag (although the shoes were reduced from 44.99 to 31.49, and the bag was halfprice from 9.99) Got meself a snazzy bag too... reduced to 6.89 from 22.99 so it could have been worse innit.

    9.66 on lunch

the rest went on bread, milk, catfood and fridge bits top-up.

Ok, all in all spent about £10. Mum wouldn't take the money for the cakes she got me (and I really did try to give it to her - honest!!) so saved there and she gave me 3x £2 coins!! The kids got some money so they got a McD's each. Mum gave me loads of food to bring home too!!

however - OH had a big promotion on at work today and got a cash bonus that covers spending for more than a week  He was not impressed when I told him (sorry)....suggested that we use the majority of it to pay off one of the credit cards (one of mine only has a bit on it left to clear ;) ).
