My Oh has just found my accident a load of "pictures" which basically seems to be whenever I visit a site it is downloading all the pics e.g. I visited the Cricket Australia site the other day and was reading about the team and there are their pictures - but I didnt click on each on individually.

There's also pictures that have been emailed to me, but I have no idea where these are being stored.

Anyone have a clue what is going on please?! :confused:

I just pop in now and then.... :)

    Do you mean that they found the Temporary Internet Files folder. Your browser will usually save images and even web pages to a temporary folder on your machine in order to speed up the response next time you want to view a page. You can clear this every so often if you want. Or stop the browser from saving them to start with.
    In internet explorer it is Tools > Options > Delete Files (under Temporary Internet Files). Or to prevent the browser from saving the files go to Tools > Options > Settings > Never

    In Firefox it is Tools > Options > Privacy Cache. The click "clear cache now" to delete the files. Set the cache size to 0 if you want to stop it from saving files.
  • You could also download one of these three programs;

    Clean up

    CCleaner

    ATF Cleaner

    They will remove all your cache, temp files etc and work with most browsers.

    I use a mix of all three.

    When you save the pictures by default the will be saved in "My Documents" you can choose to say them some where else though ie desktop.
