I want a Post Office Credit card but..

I really want to get a post office credit card but I am a housewife with no income of my own, I have looked at the form and it asks for yearly income....I was wondering if it would be ok to enter my husbands income as he has no objections to this, or would this be fraud? I know it would be straight foward to get the card in my husbands name but I will be the card user so that wouldn't be any good. We have an excellent credit history.

So put down the housekeeping funds you get, say £10,000p.a.

That way you're not lying really. Also it is issued by Bank of Ireland who allow additional cardholders thus hubby could apply with you being additional cardholder

Not sure, however a lot of applications will ask for your income and then total household income

Would I have to send proof of my earnings?

I used to work for a credit card company processing applications and if you didnt have an income but your spouse did we asked you to put that down as household income on your application
And no to proof of earnings they'll just do a credit check
