Credit card purchase - will I be insured ?

Hi,

I am thinking of investing in a small share of a hotel. It's only a relatively small investment (£7k) and I can afford to pay cash, but I would like to take advantage of the protection offered by purchasing on a credit card (if possible). The dangers that I am concerned about are - what would happen if the developer went bust ? would I be re-imbursed by the credit card company ? What would happen if I split the cost over several credit card companies ?? is this possible ? any help would be very much appreciated.

Regards

Ed

How do you envisage using the cards to 'pay' for your share? Does the hotel accept cards? Won't solicitors be involved and I can't see them accepting cards.

I did think that the CCA covered personal customers but not business transactions but I could be wrong here.

I do not think you are going to be covered in this case.
